We are a lighting, grip and camera support rental company located in Grand Rapids, Michigan (on the west coast). We also have on site a complete expendables store with an extensive inventory. While we serve the entire Midwest, our rental clients are most conveniently served in the West Michigan area. We are more than happy to ship or deliver Expendables and Equipment wherever you need them.

A BIT OF HISTORY:

Dave Lowing started Lowing Light & Grip in his garage in 1985. Back then it was just him and a light kit, but none the less it was a start.

He was able to work on small to medium size industrial, commercial and educational productions. At first bringing his equipment or renting larger packages from other cities.

As time moved on he invested in equipment and moved through several progressively larger storage/shop spaces. All the while focused on offering quality equipment that was well maintained, doing the maintenance himself whenever possible.

Today the company resides in an 18,000 Sq. Ft. building with a substantial inventory of equipment and five full time staff members.

We have to thank the State of Michigan for an aggressive incentive package that has helped us to grow and given us the opportunity to work on some very satisfying projects. All the while we've been blessed to be able to continue serving our local community as always for their industrial, commercial and educational projects.
